The Crawford Co Sheriff's Office seasonally manages a marine patrol, snowmobile patrol and ORV (Off Road Vehicle) patrol. The purpose of this is to promote safety and respond to emergency situations on the numerous waterways and trails in our county by those persons enjoying these recreational activities. The Sheriff's Office also investigates accidents involving watercraft, snowmobiles or ORVs. Our agency holds various recreational safety classes throughout the season to instruct water safety and promote safety in the operation of any recreational vehicles. These classes are free and held at various times throughout the year.
