On May 5, 2006 at 1:53 a.m. fire fighters from the Grayling City and Township Fire Department and Deputies from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office responded to a structure fire at 130 Alexia Lane in the Grayling Mobile Home Estates. Upon arrival, deputies found the garage engulfed in flames. The fire quickly spread to the mobile home destroying both structures. At the time of the fire the residence was unoccupied. The investigation into this fire is continuing, however, preliminary results have determined the fire is of a suspicious nature.
