Crawford County Sheriff Kirk Wakefield states that on June 6, 2006 Deputy’s were dispatched to the Frederic Elementary School in reference to a breaking and entering. Deputy’s were advised that there were nine IBM Think Pad laptop computers missing from the adult education classroom. Along with the laptops, all of the wires for the laptops were taken. The estimated value for the property stolen was approximately $9,000.00.
