Friday September 8th, 2006

Crawford County Sheriff Kirk Wakefield states that Deputies were dispatched to a residence in Lovells Township to assist with a possible overdose. Upon arrival, emergency personnel awakened the female occupant of the residence.  The female was transported to Grayling Mercy Hospital for treatment.

Discovered on the deck of the residence were two containers with live marijuana plants growing. The plants were seized and felony charges will be sought against the female homeowner for manufacturing a controlled substance.

Names withheld pending the issuance of warrants. Lovells Township Fire Dept. and MMR EMS assisted at the scene.
