Tuesday November 21st, 2006

Sheriff Kirk A. Wakefield states on Tuesday November 21, 2006 at approximately 0138 hours, while assisting the Grayling City Police Department, a deputy observed a male subject throw an object from his vehicle. The deputy investigated the situation and found the object that had been thrown to be a zip lock baggy containing possible marijuana. 

The white male subject, from the Wolverine area, was arrested for possession of marijuana.  While searching the subject, another zip lock baggy, also containing possible marijuana, was found in the subject’s pocket.  A third zip lock baggy was then located in the subject’s vehicle also believed to be marijuana.  The suspect was transported to the Crawford County Jail on the charge of possession of marijuana.   Investigation is on going.
