Crawford County Sheriff Kirk Wakefield states that during the afternoon of February 12, 2007 Detectives from STING Narcotics, Troopers from the Michigan State Police, and Deputies from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, executed two drug search warrants simultaneously in Crawford County. The search warrants were executed on two separate residences in Grayling Township of Crawford County. The search warrants were a result of an ongoing multi-jurisdictional investigation.
Seized in the searches was over 4 pounds of Marijuana, approximately $2,200 in cash, and drug related items. Arrests warrants are being sought for the individuals involved. Names will not be released at this time due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.
