Crawford County Sheriff Kirk Wakefield states that on Sunday, May 6, 2007 at approximately 7:50 a.m. it was discovered that Cecil Allen Gugin, white male, 38 year old inmate was found dead in his cell from a self inflicted cause. This incident is being investigated by a Michigan State Police detective and remains under investigation.
