Crawford County Sheriff Kirk Wakefield states that on Wednesday September 5th, 2007 at approximately 7:01 pm Officers from the Montmorency and Crawford County Sheriff's Offices as well as Emergency Service Personnel from the Lovells Township Fire Dept, Frederic Township EMS and MMR (Mobile Medical Response EMS) responded to a rollover accident at the intersection of County Road 612 and Jack pine Plains Rd in Lovells Township, Crawford County Michigan. The crash was determined to have one fatality.
Paul Inman, 84 year old Farmington Hills resident and part time resident of Lovells, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident and Mr. Inman had been ejected from his vehicle
The accident remains under investigation.
