Crawford County Sheriff Kirk Wakefield reports that at approximately 9:02 p.m., Sunday November 11, 2007 Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated a head-on accident near the intersection of M-93 and M-72 in Grayling Township.
The driver of the vehicle that crossed the centerline was arrested for Driving on a Revoked License and OWI (Operating while under the Influence). The passenger in that vehicle was uninjured. Names with held pending arraignment.
Two vehicles collided after one of the vehicles crossed the centerline into the left turn lane of M-72. Occupants of the vehicle attempting to turn left from M-72 to M-93 were working for Interstate Security and in an Interstate Security vehicle. Both of those subjects sought their own treatment at Grayling Mercy Hospital.
