Crawford County Sheriff Kirk Wakefield states that on April 30, 2008 the Michigan State Police – Houghton Post K-9 unit made a traffic stop which lead to a seizure of Ecstasy tablets and marijuana. S.T.I.N.G. Narcotics has also had surveillance on the two subjects arrested from the traffic stop. S.T.I.N.G. Narcotics then searched their motel room in Beaver Creek Township and recovered 133 Ecstasy tablets and approximately 5 ounces of marijuana. The search also led to the seizure of tattoo equipment, money, and electronics.
