Crawford County Sheriff Kirk Wakefield states at approximately 1:30 a.m., Thursday, July 10, 2008 deputies were dispatched to a rollover personal injury accident on Deerheart Valley Road near M-18 highway in South Branch Township. The driver of the vehicle ran off the road and the vehicle overturned, landing on its roof. The driver of the vehicle was Brian Hundley, 48 years old, from Roscommon. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was not wearing his seatbelt. It is unknown if alcohol was involved in the accident. The accident is still under investigation.
