Saturday, July 19th, 2008

     Crawford County Sheriff Kirk Wakefield states at approximately 4:03 p.m., Saturday, July 19th, 2008 deputies were dispatched to a rollover accident on N/B I-75 near Four Mile Rd. in Beaver Creak Township. Upon Deputies arrival it was discovered that a camper trailer being towed had lost traction and swerved back and forth across three lanes of traffic on I-75. The camper separated from the tow vehicle and rolled into the median. The camper was a total loss. No one in the tow vehicle was injured. The vehicle was driven by Gregory Cyr, 44 y/o, of Sterling Heights.

Traffic was diverted into one one lane of I-75 for approximately three hours while crews cleaned up the scene.

 Beaver Creek Township Fire Department assisted at the scene.
