     Crawford County Sheriff Kirk Wakefield reports that Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to two separate break-ins in Crawford County.

The first was at St. Francis Episcopal Church on M-72 in Grayling Township. A safe was removed from the church. The suspects moved the safe to a wooded area and attempted to gain entry to the safe. It is unknown at this point if any valuables were removed from the safe.

The second break-in occurred at the Grayling Consignment Shop within the City of Grayling. The suspects removed the entire cash register from the store along with several small items.
