Crawford County Sheriff Kirk Wakefield reports that Detectives from the S.T.I.N.G. Narcotics, Deputies from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and Michigan State Police Troopers from the Houghton Lake Post executed two search warrants. The search warrants were executed simultaneously on two residences in Beaver Creek Township of Crawford County. Found in the searches were approximately three pounds of marijuana, distribution materials, and weapons. No arrests were made at the time of the searches.
The investigation is ongoing with reports to be submitted seeking multiple felony counts on several Crawford County residents.
