Crawford County Sheriff Kirk Wakefield states that at approx 1:26 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to the Speedway Gas Station located in the city of Grayling for a retail fraud complaint. Deputies were advised that the suspect had run behind the business on foot with the items he had stolen. Deputies located the suspect on the Grayling Country Club and were involved in a foot chase with the suspect. The suspect was apprehended and transported to the Crawford County Jail where he is awaiting charges. The suspect is a 27 year old male and his name is being held waiting arraignment.
