NEWS BRIEF
Crawford County Sheriff Kirk Wakefield states that on Monday, March 1st at approx. 5:30 pm, Deputies were dispatched to a fatal snowmobile accident, in Grayling Township. This accident occurred on Vista Dr. off of Hartwick Pines Rd.
A 44 year old (Grayling man) was traveling eastbound on Vista Dr., when he lost control of his snowmobile and left the roadway, rolling the snowmobile over several times. The man died at the scene as a result of injuries from the accident. Excessive speed and icy conditions are believed to be factors in this accident. This incident remains under investigation by the Crawford County Sheriffs Office.
